Mia and Clay celebrated their wedding at the Old Ursuline Convent on December 3, 2022.
Her bridal bouquet was heavily textured with lots of various greens including eucalyptus parvifolia, variegated mini Italian pittosporum, cedar, olive and white tweedia. The white blooms included scabiosa, hyacinth, ranunculus, garden roses and butterfly ranunculus.
All of the personals reflected Mia's bouquet with lots of textured greens and dainty white blooms. The flower girl carried a moss covered purse adorned with white majolica spray roses, hyacinth blooms, and of course the green cedar, olive and eucalyptus.
We highlighted the brick and old architecture of the Old Ursuline Convent by keeping the entrance very simple by adding a few vines of smilax to the draping.
The couple included a memory table of photos of family and friends that have passed to include them in their celebration. Our contribution to this table was a variety of sweet textured bud vases and votive accents.
Distressed Rentals knocked it out of the park with the lounge furniture and decor. This is where you first encounter our use of lemons with the green heavy florals; adding a touch of Tuscany, Italy to the the atmosphere.
The reception tent design included lush compotes for the round tables and candle runners on the banquet tables, decorated with lemons and green foliage.
We complimented the stone compote with three of our gold candlesticks in various heights and gold rimmed votive accents. We love the textured variety achieved through pairings such as the white rice flower with the smooth, round lemons. This gives the arrangements a very organic feel.
The banquet table candles included pillar candle holders with a white stone finish, gold candlesticks and votives. Our candle heavy designed paired with the dramatic lighting underneath the tent made the European inspired space elegantly welcoming and warm.
